Real estate veteran returns to Ray White

By Nazih Abbouchi

An agent with nearly 30 years experience as a real estate agent, principal, auctioneer and trainer has announced he has taken over the Ray White Balmain office.

David Meadowcroft, who joined the industry in 1988, has experience leading both sales and property management businesses. He said joining Ray White largely came down to the opportunity on offer in the Inner West.

“The Ray White brand in Balmain is well-known and well respected. I began my career in the Inner West so when the opportunity came up to take on the office here, I grabbed it. It’s a fantastic place to live and work.”

Having contracted for Ray White after selling his own agency to the Group in 2008, David is familiar with the Ray White brand and said the support offered was also a big attraction when making the decision to join the Group.

Determined to create a business that is driven by customer service, David’s core ambition is to build a team that is focused on the customer experience.

“I am a great believer that the only way to build a long-term business is to invest in the experience our clients have.

“There are two things we’ll do to make sure we’re giving the people of the Inner West exactly what they need: build a team of like-minded, experienced professionals who are 100 per cent focused on their customers, and establish meaningful community partnerships that help us give back as well as get to know more people in the area,” David said.

Ray White NSW CEO, Stephen Nell, said it was a pleasure to welcome David back to the Ray White family.

“David has been an exceptional agent for many years and we are thrilled to welcome him home. We saw David’s skill when he first contracted for us and we look forward to seeing his business grow with Ray White.” he said.

With ambitions to grow his business quickly, David said Ray White Balmain not only offers the community a service, he also offers locals career opportunities.

“My assistant has recently joined me and we’ve already put a plan in place to have her move into a sales associate role as the business grows.

“Within 12 months, I plan to have fully operational sales and property management departments, with local professionals who have a love for the area as well as the real estate industry,” he said.
